Best For
Endurocross Competitor
You're lining up at events with rock gardens, log barriers, and soaked technical sections. You're not worried about mileage — you budget tire replacements like race prep. The Ibex is exactly what this kind of riding demands.
Perfect Match
Extreme Enduro Enthusiast
You ride gnarly single-track, mixed terrain, and anything that puts a standard trail tire out of its depth. You'll trade wear life for that extra edge of traction and casing compliance when conditions get nasty.
Great Match
Dual-Sport Commuter
If you're splitting miles between pavement and trails, the Ibex's ultra-soft compound will wear out fast on asphalt and feel vague at highway speeds. The Kenda K760 Trakmaster II is a far better fit for mixed-use riding.

Frequently Asked
Expect somewhere in the range of 3–6 hard sessions on the rear and 6–10 on the front under real competition conditions. This is a soft-compound competition tire — longevity is not its goal, traction is. Running it on pavement will cut that life down dramatically, so keep it off the street.
We'd steer you away from that. The Ibex wears quickly on pavement and doesn't have the structure or handling characteristics for mixed road use. If you're splitting time between asphalt and dirt, the Kenda K760 Trakmaster II is built for exactly that balance and will serve you far better.
The compound was developed alongside professional Endurocross athletes who race on soaked rocks, muddy logs, and technical wet obstacles — grip in those conditions was the design brief. The soft rubber stays compliant in the cold and wet where stiffer compounds harden up and lose contact. The open knob layout sheds mud and water so the lugs stay engaged rather than packing out.
Full-size dirt bikes typically run an 80/100-21 or 90/100-21 up front and a 110/100-18 or 120/100-18 out back. Smaller platforms commonly use a 90/100-14 or 90/100-16 rear. Always start with your owner's manual OEM spec, though many competition riders size up slightly in the rear to gain traction in soft terrain.
The soft compound absorbs rock impacts well, but the open tread and flexible casing are dialed in for soft, technical conditions — not hard-pack. On firm dirt or hardpack the soft compound can feel imprecise, and wear accelerates. If your terrain runs predominantly hard or intermediate, look at a firmer compound tire built for those surfaces.
Different tools for different jobs. The Millville runs a firmer compound suited for intermediate terrain with better overall wear life — it's a motocross-oriented tire for general off-road use. The Ibex goes softer for maximum grip in extreme, technical Endurocross-style conditions where terrain compliance and wet traction matter more than how long the tire lasts.
