Best For
Technical Trail Specialist
You're on single-track, rock gardens, and steep technical sections far more than you're on asphalt. Pavement is just the connector between real riding. You want grip and control first — longevity is a distant concern. The Enduro Xtrem was designed around exactly this riding style.
Perfect Match
Hard Enduro Competitor
You enter events where the terrain actively tries to end your day. You need a tire with proven competition credentials, maximum mechanical grip at crawling speeds, and a compound that stays compliant when conditions get extreme. This is where the Enduro Xtrem earns its reputation.
Perfect Match
Balanced Dual-Sport Rider
If your rides split time fairly evenly between pavement and dirt — or you're logging real highway miles — the Enduro Xtrem's soft compound and aggressive knob pattern will wear faster and feel rougher on-road than you'll want. A more balanced option like the Michelin Anakee Wild or Continental TKC 70 will serve you better day-to-day.

Frequently Asked
These two tires are built for very different riders. The Enduro Xtrem runs a softer compound with a more aggressive, dirt-first tread pattern — it's a specialist, not an all-rounder. The Anakee Wild handles pavement far better, lasts longer, and works well in true 50/50 use. Our rule of thumb: if your riding is 70% or more off-road in technical terrain, go Enduro Xtrem. If you want genuine versatility, go Anakee Wild.
The soft compound is optimized for grip, not longevity — that's a deliberate tradeoff. Rear tires typically see 2,000–3,500 miles depending on surface mix and riding style, while fronts tend to run 3,000–4,500 miles. Heavy pavement use accelerates wear significantly. Riders who spend most of their time on dirt will get more life out of them than those commuting on asphalt between rides.
Yes — the M-speed rating covers you up to 81 mph, so highway transit is doable. That said, expect more road noise above 50 mph and a less refined feel than any street-oriented tire. The soft compound can also chunk on hot pavement if you're riding aggressively. It's built to transit, not cruise.
On wet dirt, rocks, and roots, the pliable compound performs well — that's its intended environment. On wet pavement, performance is adequate for careful transit but the tread geometry isn't designed to evacuate standing water the way street tires are. Treat wet on-road sections with extra respect and adjust your pace accordingly.
Yes — this is exactly what it was built for. Hard enduro and extreme competition environments are the Enduro Xtrem's home turf. The low-speed grip, compound pliability, and knob design are all calibrated for the kind of rock, climb, and obstacle work that defines competitive hard enduro. If you're racing or training for events, this tire belongs on your list.
Start at manufacturer-recommended pressures — typically 28–32 psi rear and 21–25 psi front for street use — then dial from there. Many riders drop 3–5 psi off-road to get more compound contact and pliability in technical sections, then pump back up before hitting pavement. Stay within safe operating ranges and experiment to find what works for your bike and your terrain.
