Best For
Weekend Track Hauler
You're trailering your sportbike to Chuckwalla or Streets of Willow and you need trailer rubber that keeps up with your pace — on the highway, at least. The K371's stable tracking and long-wearing compound handle repeated freeway miles between track weekends without drama or surprise blowouts.
Perfect Match
Touring Gear Transporter
Your trailer is packed with camping kit, tools, and spares for multi-day touring runs through the Southwest. The K371's low rolling resistance helps keep the tow vehicle's fuel consumption in check on long hauls, and its bias-ply durability shaves down on replacement frequency.
Great Match
Motorcycle Rider Seeking Tire Upgrades
The K371 is not a motorcycle tire — full stop. It has no sidewall structure, tread compound, or profile geometry suited to lean angles or cornering loads. If you need street or sport rubber, ask us about the Kenda K6702 Cataclysm for sport riding or the K673 Kruz for cruiser and touring applications.

Frequently Asked
Absolutely not — and we won't do it. The K371 is built for trailer axles and has zero capability for the lean angles, lateral forces, or cornering grip that motorcycle riding demands. Mounting a trailer tire on a bike is a serious safety hazard. Come in and we'll set you up with the right Kenda motorcycle tire instead.
Ply rating determines how much load the tire can safely carry and at what inflation pressure. If your trailer is heavier or sees frequent hard use, the 6-ply is the better call — it handles higher PSI and greater gross weight. Check your trailer's placard or GVWR to pick the right rating before ordering.
Even if the tread looks fine, most trailer tire manufacturers recommend replacement every three to five years due to UV and ozone degradation in the sidewall rubber. A trailer that sits in a Southern California driveway is still aging. Inspect sidewalls regularly for cracking, and don't wait until you see cord.
Go by your trailer's placard, not the maximum number molded on the tire sidewall — those are two different figures. Check pressure cold, before you hook up and start rolling. Under-inflation is the single biggest cause of trailer tire failure, and it's completely preventable.
Kenda designed the tread pattern with circumferential grooves that visually echo radial construction, and that pattern does help move water. But the underlying carcass is bias-ply, which gives the K371 strong load capacity and a lower price than true radial trailer tires. For most trailer duty cycles, bias-ply is entirely sufficient.
The low-resistance compound can shave a small amount off your rolling losses compared to older or cheaper trailer rubber, but the effect is modest — typically a few percent at best. Proper inflation has a far bigger impact on efficiency than the tire compound alone, so keep that pressure dialed in.
