Best For
Track Day Regular
You're putting in four to eight track days a season and riding hard between events. You know how to manage heat cycles, dial in pressures for each session, and work with tire warmers. You need a tire that communicates clearly at real lean angles — the Supercorsa V3 was engineered around riders like you.
Perfect Match
Committed Sport Rider
Your sportbike earns its keep on canyon roads at a serious pace, with a track day sprinkled in to sharpen your skills. You're willing to trade some mileage and cold-weather forgiveness for a tire that rewards aggressive riding. Just give it a few minutes to come up to temperature and it'll reward the patience.
Great Match
Street-Focused Sport Rider
If most of your miles are street rides with spirited weekend runs but no real track time, the Supercorsa V3 is more tire than your riding demands. The Diablo Rosso Corsa II will give you better everyday versatility, longer tread life, and stronger all-conditions confidence at a price that makes more sense for your use case.

Frequently Asked
Expect somewhere in the 2,000–4,000 street-mile range depending on how hard you ride, or roughly 6–10 track days with street miles in between. Riders who spend most of their time on circuit will land at the lower end; those who primarily street ride with occasional track use can stretch toward the upper limit. The refined tread geometry does a better job maintaining consistent performance as the tire wears compared to earlier generations.
Warmers aren't mandatory, but they're a smart investment if you're running at an aggressive pace or in cooler temps. Without them, the V3 will build heat over the first several laps if you progressively load the tire rather than hammering it from pit exit. For intermediate-pace track days in warm weather, you can manage without warmers — just treat the first few laps as your warm-up laps and build from there.
The V3 is the more street-friendly of the two — it builds heat faster on a cold morning, handles the occasional damp patch with more composure, and delivers a wider performance window across varying conditions. The SP is tuned for the ultimate dry grip of dedicated track work. For most riders mixing street and track miles, the V3 hits the better balance and honestly has more than enough grip ceiling for track days short of pro-level pace.
For street use, start with 32–34 psi front and 28–30 psi rear measured cold. On track, drop to around 26–28 front and 22–24 rear cold, targeting hot pressures of roughly 32–34 front and 28–30 rear during a session. These are starting points — your specific bike, weight, and pace will influence where you land, and most track-day organizers can point you in the right direction for your machine.
The tread pattern provides enough water evacuation for street riding in light to moderate rain — this isn't a dry-only slick. That said, its strength is squarely in the dry, and wet-track use should only be attempted by experienced riders who understand how a performance compound behaves in low-grip conditions. If you're regularly riding in SoCal's winter wet season, a sport-touring tire with a more aggressive wet tread is a safer daily choice.
Ducati runs OE fitment with the Supercorsa V3 because the tire's grip levels, chassis feedback, and stability under hard acceleration match what a 200+ hp superbike actually requires. That OE validation means Pirelli engineered the tire's handling characteristics in partnership with Ducati's chassis and electronics package — it's not a marketing checkbox, it's proof the tire can handle the real demands of one of the most capable production motorcycles ever built.
