World Superbike-derived profile geometry delivers rapid lean transitions and neutral, confidence-inspiring mid-corner behavior on canyon roads and city streets alike
Silica-enriched multi-compound construction on both axles balances peak dry grip with usable wet-weather traction across unpredictable surface conditions
Fourth-generation refinement means faster cold warm-up times and more progressive edge feedback compared to the Rosso III — no warmers needed for street use
Purpose-built for supersport, naked, and crossover platforms — broad 17-inch size coverage fits the most popular sport bikes on the road
Wet-road capability punches well above its sport-tire class, handling morning fog, damp corners, and oil-slicked intersections with genuine composure
Dual-context design bridges aggressive weekend riding and weekday commuting without forcing a compromise in either direction

Best For
Aggressive Street Enthusiast
Your supersport or naked bike doubles as a daily driver and a weekend weapon. Ortega Highway on Saturday, the 5 freeway on Monday — you need a tire that handles both without apology. The Rosso IV was built around exactly this kind of riding: spirited, varied, and occasionally wet.
Perfect Match
Track-Curious Street Rider
You've got a track day on the calendar and you're not ready to commit to dedicated race rubber. The Rosso IV gives you enough grip and progressive feedback to learn proper technique and build confidence on circuit, while staying completely at home on the public roads that make up the vast majority of your miles.
Great Match
Pure Track Competitor
If you're running intermediate or advanced track groups with tire warmers and a data logger, the Rosso IV will feel like it's leaving performance on the table. You need a compound optimized purely for heat-cycle consistency and maximum edge grip.

Frequently Asked
Plan on 4,000–6,000 miles if you're riding aggressively, and closer to 7,000–8,000 if your mix leans toward highway cruising and lighter canyon sessions. Front tires tend to last significantly longer than rears. Heavy daily commuters will notice the center wearing square before the shoulders are used up — that's normal for this class of tire.
No — warmers are not required. The Rosso IV is engineered to reach working temperature within a few miles of normal riding. On a track day, a sighting lap followed by a gradual warm-up lap is all you need before you start pushing. It's one of the things that makes this tire genuinely track-friendly without being track-dependent.
Better than you'd expect from a sport-leaning tire. Pirelli made meaningful wet-grip improvements over the Rosso III, and it handles damp SoCal mornings and oily intersections with real confidence. That said, if you're riding in sustained cold and wet conditions regularly, a dedicated sport-touring tire like the Angel GT II or Road 6 will edge it out in those specific conditions.
For riders spending 90% or more of their time on public roads, the standard Rosso IV is the right call. The Corsa version is optimized for frequent track use where that extra grip margin gets exploited — on the street, you won't notice the difference in performance, but you will notice faster wear. Save the Corsa for when your track-to-street ratio flips.
It's a meaningful step forward, not just a rebadge. The Rosso IV warms up faster, delivers noticeably better wet grip, and provides more progressive feedback as you approach the limit at lean. Wear life is broadly similar between the two generations. Unless price is the deciding factor, there's no real reason to go back to the III.
Light touring and the occasional passenger? Sure, it handles that well enough. But if you're regularly loading up for multi-day trips with hard bags and two-up weight, this isn't the tire for that mission — you'll burn through rears quickly and the ride character isn't tuned for that load range. Look at the Angel GT II or Angel GT Reinforced for serious touring duty.
