Motorcycle Tires by Size

A motorcycle tire size is three numbers. The first is section width in millimetres, the second is the aspect ratio — sidewall height as a percentage of that width — and the third is rim diameter in inches. So a 180/55-17 is 180 mm across the tread, with a sidewall about 99 mm tall, on a 17-inch wheel.

Your sizes are moulded into the sidewall of the tires already on the bike, and they are usually on the swingarm sticker and in the owner’s manual as well. Front and rear are different sizes on almost every motorcycle, so check both before you order.

Sizes carried by only a model or two are not listed separately — use the search and filters on the main tire page for those, or send us the size and we will source it.
